- Are your rings not fitting the right way anymore?
Have your rings resized by our expert goldsmith to ensure you don’t lose them. Remember our repairs don’t leave our store; we do everything on the premises.
- Ever have a dream that you lost the stone out of your favorite ring?
Our qualified staff can check your prongs to see if you need re-tipping and check your jewelry carefully to prevent loss of any stones. And if it’s too late and you already lost your stone, we can provide you with another one. Still have your stone? We’ll be more than happy to reset it for you. We also provide a remount service you may be interested in.
- Snag your chain and it broke?
We’ll fix it! From simple chain solder to even some of the most complex jobs our goldsmith will do her best to repair your jewelry so you can still wear and cherish your precious pieces.
- Oh how sweet; Grandma gave you her pearls, but they're old and need to be restrung.
We can restring any pearls any size. We know how precious family jewelry can be, and if it’s important to you, it’s important to us. We can restring pearls and beaded necklaces on silk or thread. Bring them down to have them checked.

Don't be late tomorrow! We stock a wide range of batteries for watches and will expertly install them while you wait. And if it's not the battery that needs to be replaced, we can give you an estimate on what it would take to return your watch to running condition.
Appraisals
- Need your jewelry appraised for insurance?
Then you’ve come to the right place. We perform all jewelry appraisals on the premises. Your items are digitally photographed for your appraisal and everything is typed up in an easy to read format for you to give to your insurance company. Many single items average half an hour or $25. Your appraisal is on file, and all future updates are free. Any jewelry bought from Shannons that needs an appraisal will provided at no charge to our customers.
Engraving
Make your gift really special and have it engraved. We machine engrave and can engrave on most items like:

- Baby Mugs, etc.
