Scott Fournier and Frank Johnson established Shannon’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry Inc. in 1975. The store’s first location was on the Hub Six Shopping Center between John Allen’s Men’s store and Treadway Travel. The W. T. Grant Co. was the anchor store at the time.
Scott was 25 and Frank was 23 years old. They designed and constructed this store, from building the jewelry display cases to hanging the wallpaper. They believed they could be successful by offering the community quality jewelry at reasonable prices coupled with exceptional services. Their commitment to honesty and integrity lead them to their tag line,“A Store You Can Believe In.”
Frank and Scott are life-long Bristol residents with strong ties to the community. The store supports local sports teams, churches and civic organizations.
